The next day I taught them probability. First I taught them about the probability of
something occurring. After teaching them for a little while, they played with an applet. The
applet was a fire applet, and it gave them the probability of the forest burning. They also
played with the spinner applet. Then they went on break. After the students came back to the
room, I taught them about the probability of something happening or not happening. Then they
played with a racecar applet. Later we did an activity where I would ask them questions and
if they got it right I would give them some candy.
