Topic: In Straws We Truss day 2

Today the students built truss structures with straws and pins. The goal of the activity was
to have them build a structure as high and strong as possible with 50 straws. The structures
were then tested by adding weight to the top of the structure until it failed. The students
were then asked what caused the failure.
