Topic: Modeling and Introduction to Math
Time Duration: 2 hours
Grades: K-7th

The students learned about probability and worked with the Fire applet in Project Interactivate. The students worked in groups on the Fire exploration questions. Then the instructor discussed how computers can be used to help learn math. The instructor discussed the Agame, Fgame, etc. applets with the students. The students divided into groups of two and worked with the applets. The students enjoyed competing with each other to solve the problems before the timer expired.
