Monday was a short day, as most of the students had to leave early. We began by holding a
short "tic-tac-toe tournament" using the game that the students had created. Tim was the
undefeated winner. We then moved on to introduce the subject for the upcoming week: creating
a simple animation using images and javascript. Jonathan demonstrated what the animation
would look like-- a kind of digital flip book. He used the javascript program (created by
Ernie) to play a sequence of images first slowly, then quickly, and then backwards. Then, we
created an experimental animation by taking sequential photos of one of the students and
loading them into the flip book program.
