Today, there was good attendance, so Jonathan formally introduced the process of creating a
Google Sketchup floor plan. He led the students through creating a floor rectangle (along
with how to specifying exact dimensions) and drawing in lines to create the desired walls.
Students learned to search Google's 3D Warehouse to find items that would be hard to model
(such as appliances and complex furniture) and to download and import these existing models
into their house models.
Finally, Jonathan showed students how to extend walls up from the floor plan to make a
three-dimensional version of the entire house.
