In preparation for creating a logo and brochure for Training for Success, students reviewed
some text- and shape-related features of Inkscape today. Students created shape objects and
then made text objects that would flow around the outside of the shape. After learning to
use basic shapes the class then proceeded to import more complex objects and pictures from
the web and place paths around them. This project was meant to introduce skills that would
specifically help students create the text flowing around the the circle in the TFS logo.
