The instructor discussed forensics and the way that investigators look at a crime scene by
using finger prints. The class discussed how fingerprints were unique and the different
patterns of fingerprints. The students use a pencil and tape to capture their fingerprints.
Afterwards, the students looked at a short video to solve a mystery using fingerprints. Next
the class discussed ink chromatography. The instructor used a secret note that was written and
the students had to use ink chromatography methods to determine who wrote the note. Lesson
