The goal of the lesson was for the students to be able to recognize and complete patterns and
realize that patterns are prevalent in the world. I showed the students a slide show of
patterns in nature, architecture, math, etc. and we discussed what makes something a pattern.
We played a card game called SET and worked through the two Interactivate applets Pattern
generator and Venn Diagram Shape Sorter.
