This day for the younger students we gave them the task of creating one of three types of musical instruments. They had the choice of creating shakers, drums, and kazoos. After the students created their instrument, they then decorated them with crayons and stickers.

For the older students, Jonathon taught them about rhythm. He talked them about how to catch a beat and how to count the number of time the beat hits in a single measure. After he taught them how to do that, the students had the task of analyzing the beats of 2 different songs. The beat was separate into 4 parts and eat student has a part assigned to them by a number. When their number was pointed to they had to make a noise to represent the beat happening in the song.
