In today's class, students began work on their logos. The requirements for a logo were that
it be an iconic, eye-catching image, using good design principles, that would communicate
something about the creator's personality or interests, and that could serve as an
advertisement for the creator's services.
Students began by sketching logo designs on paper, and then progressed to working on the
computer. As a demo of how to create a logo using a vector-based drawing program, students
were walked through the process of creating Shodor's tetrahedron logo in Inkscape.
