I learned about how triangles are strong when you are building things. I also learned about bridges and what makes a strong bridge .

alex

today i learnd that sertain geometric shapes hold their form better than others. like a triangle is better than a square. i liked getting to build the bridges with pins and straws, and seeing how much weight they could hold.

Elijah Kinne

I learned that in building bridges it is better to have triangle as supportes than squares because triangles don't twist.

Labreya

today we built a structure it was cool we used straws and pins ours > held 80 marbles. I can not wait until next time

William

It was very fun

Leo

today in engineering we made towers out of straws and pins. My team got first place. We had fun.

lateya

Today we built things out of straws. We kept them together with pens.Itwas fun

Alex

Today, we continued working with trusses and had two competitions: Build a real bridge, see how much it can hold (the team I was in got 3rd place, out of 6) Build one with a computer modle (I got 2nd)
