At the beginning of class, Dr. Panoff presented a challenge problem which thestudents worked on for the first few minutes of class. Following this activity, the students wrapped up the four 4s problem that the students worked on yesterday. The students then reviewed what they had gone over the last few days, specifically systems modeling and agent modeling.

The students were then given a presentation on professional business ethics. Ron Broadnax presented to the students the most important aspects of working in a professional environment, which included how to act in an office, how to communicate with others, how to conduct oneself on social media, how to be productive in the workplace, along with a plethora of other important information. This information was conveyed by using a contrast of what not to do and what to do. Following the break, the students heard another presentation about how to give presentations. Again, a contrast was drawn in order to highlight the necessary skills required to make an interesting and intellectually stimulating presentation. The importance of clear and concise content on slides, making slides visually appealing, speaking clearly, and connecting with the audience were highlighted. The students were then presented with the task of creating, completing, and presenting a project by Friday. The rules of the project were given: create a model in both Vensim and AgentCubes illustrating the same concept. Dr. Panoff shared examples of models of population growth, predator-prey, cycles, and spreading. The students then created groups (or decided to work alone) and selected project topics. Following lunch, the students began creating HLD, High Level Designs, for their projects, which outlined each part of their project. After having their HLD approved, they began to create their models.
