Arielle

Today in class we talked about flooding and also we talked about runoff. We established that when land is flat and dry there will be more runoff or if its flat and moist there will less runoff. Also we established that if its on a hill there will be less runoff even if its moist or dry.

Lateya

Today in class we learned about rain forests. It was very fun.

Trokon

Today we taked about water gardens. We used a applet on excel. it was very fun nto do this though it to a long time.

Michael

Today we talked about flooding. We used the computer to figure out how much runoff is created when it rains based on what type of dirt it is, what the land is used for, and how much rain there was.

Azariah

Today we talked about soil, clay and sand and how water moves around through them to dissolve them. We also discused and figured out how to get the amount of water runoff for an area a lady sold to Walmart and other people. I liked using the spread sheet to do that, it was fun.

Legno

today we did stuff with soil.

Nettie

Today we talked about floods and how much it would flood in different areas. We put in different thing in the speadsheet, and calculated how much it would flood under different conditions. We changed the soil, the land cover, the amount of rain, and the hydrologic condition. It was very interesting.
