Comments Today it was really hot outside. We spent more time outside doing experiments that were related to hydrology. We tested different types of soil and how fast the water drained through them. It was fun.

Comments I liked the excel activity even though it kind of dragged on. The daphnia continuation was good but a little short. I received good one on one help.

Comments Today we went outside & tested the permeability of different types of soil. Then we measured Shodor & inside we used a PC program to see how big of a rain garden Shodor should have. Then we looked at a little model of streams with pollution & how it affected Daphnia.

Comments Today was okay although I really didn't like what we did bacause it was very boring but when we went outside it got a little bit funner because we we're measuring the area of Shodor.

Comments We did intensive studies of the most important thing on earth, earth. Or better yet dirt. It was cool seeing how the different types of soil affected the runoff. I liked applying what we studied to the Shodor building and seeing how the need for a water garden was here, and not some place else that really didn't matter. I liked applying our knowledge to use. Fun.

Comments WE GOT TO GO OUTSIDE TODAY AND DO A LITTLE EXPERIMENT ABOUT WATER RUNOFF. WE ALSO SAW A PROGRAM ABOUT SIZE OF THE WATER GARDEN SHOULD BE AND THE RUNOFFS. IT WAS PRETTY BORING.
