The following reports were written by members of Engineers in Training during the second day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

I had a lot of fun learning about weight, mass and the confusing fence puzzle.

Matthew

It was allright but the sand was dusty... Loading was cool because it was hands-on like everything else and the fence thing was hard.

Jackson

I had fun today at camp because we played with wax.

Karyee

Today we watched Garrett load beams to see which ones were the strongest. The outcome wasn't what most people expected. I had a good time.

Sophia

We learned about volume, area, and mass. I think that this is a very groovy course as well as all the other courses. I love this.

Matthew

Today's activities were a lot more review for me with the algebra because I've taken it already. But it was helpful too. It was kinda hot in the room! That was the only con for me.

Jimissa

I liked the thing we did with the sand. I look forward to the beam project tomorrow. I liked that the perimeter thing was easy.

Christopher

I really liked the work we did today, I found today's lesson very useful.

Robbie

I liked learning about weight and watching wax beams break.

David

This workshop was great and I built on my knowledge of parabolas and volumes. The graphs we did on the computer helped me visualize the information in my mind.

Roshen

I like putting the graphs on the computer. It makes the classes more interesting. I am looking forward to tomorrow, and the making the wax beams.
