The following reports were written by members of Engineers in Training during the fifth day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

I had fun doing the experiment with the cars. I also enjoyed the wax beams. I learned a lot about structure. I enjoyed learning the material. I think the snacks need to be better in terms of salt. What I mean is the snacks need less salt. I also learned about calculus. How to do it on the PC. I would really recommend these courses to a friend. I really like these courses a lot.

Matthew

I really liked it this week but the only problem was that it was hot outside and I would rather not get a asthma attack. You should think about that and ask if people get it because I didn't understand some things.

Jackson

I had fun.

Chris

The daredevil project we did was one of the best because I learned new vocabulary words. I liked the steps we went through to predict what the outcome of our project would be. We studied potential energy, kinetic energy, and velocity.

Roshen

To wrap up the whole week, it was very helpful. I learned a lot and I reviewed a lot of stuff that I need to go over before going back to school.

Jimissa

I enjoyed learning how to do the equations so you know where the car will land.

Christopher

I will not come back here next year because I have problem with people here.

Karyee

I liked doing the daredevil project the best. It was interesting to see how all the different factors (velocity, height, distance, etc.) were all related. I had a lot of fun this week doing the straw experiment, the sand boxes experiment, and other ones. Next time I would like two EIT classes: one for older kids and one for younger kids.

Sophia

I thought that the daredevil experiment was interesting. I wonder if our prediction will be correct. I like getting a t-shirt. I had fun this week.
