The following (emails) were written by members of the Environmental Science 2000 workshop during the third day of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.
I liked today because we got to work on our projects. I find my project interesting, however it is kind of difficult to understand all the things that are happening in the stella model and I haven't quite figured it out yet. yay!!!!

Today we worked on our projects. My partner and I are doing the Kaibab Plateau case study. We did our model in Stella and started our PowerPoint� presentation. We also found some (if not very much) information on the internet.

Today I enjoyed the camp and I liked the project that we did. It got easier and easier as we got on with it. And I like working with PERL and I hope that I will be able to work here. I like the people who work here because they are cool to be around and like the different programs we work with!

Today I liked what we did and I enjoyed what was talked about. I liked the different projects and I very much enjoy how we do them. I love being at this camp and maybe, if I'm available, I might come back next year. CHOW!

Today we worked on projects that we would show to a small group of people on Friday it will be video taped and is about environmental sciences. It was fun.

Once again I used the program Stella I enjoyed It as always. It is a fun tool to use. Today we worked on projects with my partner.

Today i really enjoyed the class. The end of the class was great because i learned a bit of programing. I really hope that we do programing again.

I thought today was really cool because we got to start learning about solar energy which was really hard to find stuff on. It took all morning!!! I really like the simulation that Renee found for us because it pretty much showed us our whole report before we did it, ,but it's harder than it looks

Today I worked on a project with some other people. It was easier than the model that the people on Pea are going to do.

Today we worked on our projects. Our's was the tragedy of the commons. Our model was not as hard as researching on the web. I'm really looking forward to to the presentations..

Today we decided which case study model we wanted to do my partner and I found hardly anything that would help on the internet. We downloaded a few things and started our model. When we finished that we did our first slide on PowerPoint�. This was my favorite thing to do.

Today's class was really interesting! I learned about the Tragedy of the commons and about PERL. Our groups project is going real well! I am excited to see what happens in tomorrow's class.
