Candid Student Reports

The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorers Club during the second session of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today we learned about paradoxes and how they
fit into the real world. we had a whole bunch
of worksheets with paradoxes on them. we had
to tell if it was a report and what type it was.

Brinton and Micah

We had fun. that's that.

Brent and Aaron

WE LEARNED ALOT. IT WAS FUN. THATS THAT.

TIM AND ROBERT

Today in class we finished our Con Man math
abuse #1.Before that we had to come outside to
do this amazing thing about negative and pos-
ative energy we had a neat production of it.
Then we jumped in on some paradoxes that took
like forever. Then we had our break we got to
have juice like we always do. After we came in
from break we discussed paradoxes some more.
Then we started to read some paradoxes and
try to finish some paradoxes. After that we
looked at our pictures on the web. soon after
we started to write our reports.

Today we learned about paradox.
We learned that paradox means something
that sounds crazy, but is true. We worked on
worksheets to help us understand paradox esier.
Sometimes we laughed about when the
people the paradox was describing.
We had a great time today.
Bye!

Ebonee, Jessica

Today we talked about Paradox. I learned alot
about what it is.
