Candid Student Reports


The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorers Club during the second session of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.


Today we had an exciting day.  First we learned what 
an epidemic is.  Then we looked at how the epidemic of 
the flu virus was before when no one had a cure.
Later we learned about what geometry is and how it is used.

Today We studied geometry.We went to the Internet to play  with the
parabola .

today we learned about how disease spreads and the probability of
gettin it.  we also learned geometry and how it works into real life.

We learned a lot and had fun

Today we worked on the Flu and how it spreads.

In Mec we got to work with the shape hyperbola. It is verry cool.
we also got to play with wax paper. it was fun to. we tryied to fold
hyperpola it was realy realy hard but we got it done. that is what is we
did today in Mec.
