Candid Student Reports

The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorations, Session C during the second day of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today I had a good time learning 
about teselations. The kids were
nice and I had a good day.

In today's class I learned about 
Fractals and tessalations! It was
alot of fun! I dislike fractals, 
they go on and on and never have 
and end.

Today we explored srpinkskys 
triangle, fractals, and testilating. I
was very fun and interesting and proved 
to be very helpful information. The
teaching made the exercise fun and we 
learned a lot also.

We learned about fractals and teselations 
and made our own teselations. We also learned 
about Serpinski's triangle and that if you make
three points in the shape of a triangle, label 
each dot, put the numbers in a hat, pull one 
number at a time, and put a dot between the 
dot you are at and that dot you will always 
wind up with a Serpinski's triangle.  I had 
a lot of fun.

Today I had lots of fun doing math

Today we learned about serpenkys 
triangle and tesalating.it was
a fun experiance that i will try 
at home even if i have to buy the 
software.
