Candid Student Reports

The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorations, Session C during the third day of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

 Today I had a good time learning 
 about pie and lots of other things.I
also learned a lot about probability.

In today's class I learned alot 
about probability and circles! I
never knew there was so many 
combinations of circles that 
are tangent with each
other.

Today we learned a lot about 
exploring in  computing the 
value of pie with many 
different ways. We also explored 
much into the laws of probablity
using many different programs. 
It was every productive day.

Today we looked into pi, 
probability and we learned about 
tangent circles and tried to 
come up with as many combinations 
as possible.I had a lot
of fun learning.

 TODAY WE LERNED ABOUT PI, AND WHY 
 IT IS IMPORTANTTO HAVE IT. WE
LEARNED ABOUT HOW TO FIND THE 
CIRCUMFRANCE OF A CICLE BY USING 
PI ALSO. IT WAS VERY FUN!
