Candid Student Reports


The following (emails) were written by members of the ISE class during the second session of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.


Today we learned about what real and whays fake, and things you can't really believe and you just need to use common sense. We also learned how to save information that you want to save using the bookmark.

Today we Learned how to use a book mark . Book marking is very helpful . We learned to find specific web sites. We went outside and played in a circle I wasn't listening it helped us to learn more about websites . We learned what is good on the internet and what is worth looking at . We also learned about website creditability.

Today in computer camp we learned how to figure weather a source of information is true or not. We looked at a website that was basically 100% lies. They also had a very attractive looking website with lots of color and pictures. They were also trying to sell something. I think that = bad website! Search enigines. That's what else we learned about today. How to search, make your searches more specific,etc. computer camp was fun, fun, fun!

Today we learned how to find sites and how to use +, -, and ". We also learned how to use and make bookmarks. We learned who won the Nobel prize and the speed of comet Hale-Bop. We also had to find a site on pitchures of whales and me and my partner found one first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we learned how to tell if a web sight is true or false. We also learned about how to make a booksmark . The thing that we thought was fun was when we were racing to find a pitcher of a whale. Our group came in 4th when we were racing.

Today my partner, Tenisha and I learned a great deal about science. We learned an easy way to search for a specific topicis, is to go into Yahoo or Altavista. We also learned that websites on the internet are put in catigories, and also that most of them are false. Just because they have really pretty pictures doesn't mean the information is accurate.
