Dr. Panoff started the morning by reviewing the previous weeks material, with slightly more detail added to various concepts. He devoted extra time to the concept of using mathematics to aid in "Visualization of Observations." After this review, Dr. Panoff introduced Chemistry Visualization, using the site www.reciprocalnet.org.

After a short break, Victoria Crockett taught the students the basics of Chemical Modeling using WebMO. She began by leading the class in modeling a water molecule using the online software. The students were given a certain set of degrees to optimize the water molecule with.

Once Lunch had ended, Jeff began talking to the students about Systems Biology, using the Student Interface to the Biology Workbench.
