Most of the morning was filled up with some preliminary introductions, both to the program and
the staff. Students began with several of the "Scientific inquiry" lessons by Dr.
Panoff, including several Google activities, and the famous "straw" project. Later,
Dr. Panoff shared some of his "rope tricks," using these basic devices to teach very
complex and important lessons about science. In all, the day went very well. The student
showed interest and seemed very excited about the work.
