The students continued working on decoding ciphers. Interest was given for past forensic cases. The class was introduced to a method of DNA recognition with the Romanov Murder case. This mystery has stimulated curiosity for many people. The case became solvable by the use of DNA, which helped the students to understand the use of DNA in solving cases. The rest of the class period was spent talking about Caesar ciphers. Jason also introduced the Pigpen cipher, what it was, and its use.
