The students began today by learning about paternity testing. They reviewed a website for more information about the process. Once they had established an understanding of how paternity testing worked, Kent gave them a case to solve. Using DNA evidence they had to prove who was the father of a child.

After they prepared their findings and evidence they held a mock trial, which was video taped for later publication on the Internet.
