Today, the students worked on finalizing their projects for their presentations this afternoon. They continued working on their presentations by, working on their slide shows, looking over their notes, and practicing within their group who was going to say what, and when they were going to say it.
Next the students were taught about water run off, and things that have water run off such as, plants, flowers, and soil. They used an interactive model on the shodor website to model water run off. They documented what they found on a spreadsheet, using Microsoft Excel. After this the students continued working on their projects for twenty minutes.
This afternoon the students presented their projects in their groups. They had an audience of a few staff members and a few outside visitors. Lastly, the students received their certificates and took their group pictures.
