Friday morning was spent getting ready to present astronomy research projects to the staff scientists and interns at Shodor. Students worked busily on their Power Point presentations, and gathered images and data to include during their lectures.

The students worked in three different groups and the presentation topics covered a broad range of subjects. The first group discussed black holes, the second presentation was about comets, and the third covered theoretical simulations of galaxies crashing into one another.

All of the groups gave 15-20 minute presentations and then fielded interesting questions from the audience. After the presentations, Bob2 gave the students feedback on perfecting slides in order to keep the audience's attention. All of the groups did a wonderful job and seemed to enjoy discussing their topics at length.
