Candid Student Reports

The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorations, Session B during the fourth day of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today was okay.  I like looking at the computer
and going to the thing to do the microscope.  
Like I said it was an okay day.

The program tell me how to use codes for math, 
and what you need to get in everyday math.


Jaiki

Today we used ropes to show the relationship
between numbers and  patterns. After break, 
we dealt with certain types of codes. The 
class was able to make their own type of 
codes. Class was very interesting today.


Le'Roy

Today was really fun.  I hope we do a hands on 
activity tomorrow.  Thanks for talking about codes.

Today we worked on fractals it was interesting.

Today we did some stuff with rope to
show math. I thought it was fun. Then we 
did some codes which was okay. I got confused as usual.

Today I learned about codes.  It was cool!

Today was fun.  The thing I liked the most
was the coding and paterns.  I think 
coding is fun even though it takes alot of 
time.  Bob1 also showed us about fractals.
