Candid Student Reports

The following (emails) were written by members of the Math Explorations during the first session of the program. Some elements may have been removed for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today we had Mike, a math wiz, teach us about 
abstract algebra.  We had a lesson in symmetry.  
We also looked at the koch Snowflake Curve and 
made one.  After the lesson, Mike gave us 
posters.

Today was sort of BORING but other than that it 
was a cool day and I had fun.


 Treasure

Today we were lectured by Mike South.  Some of 
the stuff he taught us was cool which was about 
20 minutes was fun then the rest was boring. For 
future advice pick a more interesting topic.

today,we did iterations and symetry and IDRF. 
Then they did graphs with us.
