Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Internet Science Explorations during the fourth day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today was pretty exciting because we learned to chat in a chat room.

I liked the chat room thing. I did not like how little time we had to do the web page.

I want more time on the web sites.

Today we worked on chat rooms and our web pages. Shari and I's website is going to turn out great! I can't wait for tomorrow.

So far the camp has been interesting. It gets more fun each day.

Today we did even more activities using search engines. Then we worked on our web pages some more and we did some things in a chat room.

Today we went on to our E-Mail for a little bit. Then we got to do one search on a search engine. Then got to work on our web sites. Then we learned to use the GlobalChat. I liked the chat part of today and there was nothing I didn't really like.

I had fun at this camp.

I think that I would like to come back to another workshop at Shodor because I learned a lot. We found out how to put pictures on our web site and we got to figure out the difference between instant messages and chats. I really had fun today.

Today the best thing I liked was the chat session. Oh yeah, we continued on our web pages. Hopefully, math will be fun too.
