Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Internet Science Explorations during the fifth day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

I liked Shodor, I thought it very fun making websites and learning how to at the same time, I also thought chatting on the chat line was fun.

This camp taught me that there are a lot of jobs dealing with math and science. It also showed us how to make our owen web sites. We also learned to use the search engiens better.

The new things I learned were HTML codes. What I liked best was the chat.

I love this workshop it is fun doing everything here. Even though I may not be able to come back the memories of this workshop will always stay with me. I learned that making a web site is easy. The thing I loved best about this place is working with partners. Hopefully I can do it again.

I learned at this camp different things that will help me in the long run like how to make my own web-site, think about things more than I did, work with E-Mail, how the computer works, and the different fields of science. We did hands on activities every day. I liked best being able to make our own web-sites. The only thing I would change would be to make this camp longer.

We learned how to write HTML, how to copy HTML and make it legal and write a web page. We always did hands on activities. I liked being with the class it was fun.

Basically everything that was taught was new to me. I learned how to make a web page and to talk on chat lines. I liked everything. I think that my favorite thing here was talking with scientists on the chat room. Everybody here was really nice and this was a great experience.
