The class began the day by reviewing their activities from the previous day. Soon after they began, Kar entered the room. Frantically, he related to them that his laptop had been stolen. Thus, the class began its forensics investigation to find the culprit who stole the laptop. They went all around the office interrogating staff and interns, searching for evidence.

They primarily conducted their investigation as a group. As they gathered clues, such as encoded notes and bank withdrawal notices, they met back in the classroom to analyze their findings. Implementing techniques they had learned during the week, such as handwriting analysis and code breaking, they were able to make sense of the clues. Eventually narrowing their list of suspects down to a select few, they intensified their questioning.

After break, the students continued their investigation. With newly issued search warrants, they were able to discover new clues and information. Bobby, Amanda, and Ellie remained as their final three suspects. In the end, Bobby confessed to having blackmailed Ellie, who had stolen the laptop, for changing Amanda's grades. The class chose to arrest Ellie on the charge of theft and tampering with official records.

With the arrest made, the class split into two groups: prosecution and defense. They began preparing their cases for the trial that would be held the next day. Can this defense team save Ellie from hard time? We will find out tomorrow!
