Hi! I am Megan Wu, an eighth grader at Smith Middle. I’m in a gifted program called LEAP. At school I take all the core classes, my favorite class would probably be science, besides that I take Latin II as my foreign language, and I play the flute in our school band.
I also like to play sports, I joined the girl’s tennis team in the fall, and I’m currently on our ultimate frisbee team. I love hanging out with my friends, but when I’m alone, I like to listen to music, read, and watch movies. Besides playing the flute in our school band, I have also been playing the piano for 9 years! Before coming to NC, I lived in Michigan, which explains my love of snow and cold weather! I have one older sister named Sarah who is 16 years old and is currently in 11th grade.
