  • I am most excited about learning more about computational thinking as we did with Dr. Panoff I am most proud of starting my website for my mentor. I have heard about learning more about web design which I am interested in. Erne helped me the most when I had computer errors. I helped Shawn when he was having small computer issues.

  • I am most excited about the apprenticeship program and doing the projects that will be associated with it. I am most proud of setting up a public html folder through terminal. I have heard about using the html folder more which i am excited about learning. Ernie helped the most with setting up my account. I helped my peers when he had trouble logging in

  • I am most excited about the models which we learned about and how we can apply those as well as the different types of models we will be using. I am most proud of manipulating my model and changing different factors to see how this changes the model. I have heard about doing projects with these models which I'm hoping to learn more about. Dr. Panoff helped me the most when I had issues in my model. Darius also helped me when I had problems. I helped Armaam when they had issues or did not understand how to do something or what we were doing.

  • I am most excited about using my knowledge of models and vensim to create new projects I am most proud of doing our vensim models I have heard about learning about more modeling as well as some simulation Dr. Panoff helped me the most when my model was not working I halped Shawn when he had problems with his model

  • I am most excited about using what I have learned today along with what I already know about agent cubes to help for projects and applications into the future. I am most proud of making my agent cubes model and using the new skills I learned to create new features I did not know abut prior to today. I have heard about the group project which I am very excited about doing as I know it will beneficial and as interesting as the one rom SSP. Dr. Panoff helped me the most when I had problems with my model or did not understand what to do. I helped Armaan along with others when they had small problems with their model or did not understand what we were doing.

  • Our project being presented next week. I am most proud of helping to make our website. I am hoping to learn more about verism, agent cubes and excel Ernie helped us the most when we had issues in our program. I helped SHawn and Akash when we were having problems in our proect.

  • I learned about writing code in Javascript. I am most proud of the assignments I was able to complete in class. I was helped by Shawn when I was having trouble and helped him when he was not understanding.

  • Today I learned about using different loops in programming. I am most proud of learning and understanding them as they can be very useful in further programmin I hope to do one day. I was helped by Aaron because at first I had some trouble understanding the concept.

  • Today we learned about using the Javascript error console to help us with our programming. I am most proud of being able to successfully use my new skills to do activities. I was helping Shawn when he was having problems with his code.

  • Today we worked on our newly assigned project that we will be doing for the next coming weeks. I am most proud of understanding our new project with my partner and developing a good plan and idea dor us to use. During our work Shawn and I helped each other when we needed it which was resulted in a productive work day.

  • Today we continued to work on our group project as Shawn and I were able to make some good progress. We used our knowledge already acquired in a very beneficial manner. We helped each other as well as got help from Albert when we were having problems with our project.

  • Today we worked on our forest fire project more and were able to spread the fire, set time intervals for the trees to change color based on the state in which they were in and much more. I am most proud of working with Sean on the code to help make our project work well. We did need some help from Aaron which was key to the work we were able to finish today.

  • Today we were presenting our projects and I had a good time learning how others were making their respective projects. I am most proud of how our presentation went because we put in a lot of work and it showed in our final product.

  • Today we learned a lot about parallel computing. I was most proud of understanding the concept and learning about super computers as this is a very interesting topic. I was able to do most of the assignments and activities without too much of a problem. I am very excited about this topic and can't wait to learn more.

  • Today we learned more about Super computing and worked on our notebooks. I am most proud of being able to do the mini projets and activities to show my understanding. We also made up other work as this is the last Saturday of the year.

  • Today we learned about using PHP. I really liked what we did as it was very interesting learning a new language. I really liked how it was very similar to previous languages we have worked with. My knowledge of it helped me very much yesterday to work on our newly given projects as well as complete one. I also found it cool how you can intertwine and use multiple languages to write code and how they each control different elements of your work.

  • Today we worked on using our PHP skills to continue our projects. I really liked using it as I made good progress. I was able to complete the Calendar although it took me a long time, once I was able to figure out how to make one month it was simple for me to finish. I was also able to get my dice roller working following my other projects this became very easy for me. I began work on my Background selector as well but I think it could take me a while. In all I feel I did well in a very productive day.

  • Today I did a lot of work on my projects. I was able to complete my background selector after I was able to use my knowledge of php to complete all my other projects including the dynamic pages, dane Joe and almost completing my xml blog. I found that after using php for a while it was very easy to complete the other projects. I also go to learn about databases with Travis. It was very interesting learning about the mysql and how/what a database is and what it actually does. We also got to play around with tables and other parts of the database and we were assigned a project for our calendar. In all I was able to do a lot of work as well as learn new content.

  • Today I was able to finish all of my php projects. It was a bit difficult at first to finish my xml project but once I got the hang of it I was able to complete it. After that I began on the project for databases. The project is to create a table in the mysql of events and put it into a calendar, either the one we already made or a new one. I played around in terminal to learn mysql and the commands that come with it better and I got some help from Travis on that part. After that I began a little bit on doing the events. In all I was able to complete a lot as wel as learn a lot today.

  • Today I worked more on my database projects. I first had to revisit mysql to play with some tables so I could get more comfortable with it so that I can do better on the project. Following that for the second half of the day I did documentation for the forensics workshop. I wrote about how they went over different material and seemed to excel in that and finally did a mock trial.

  • Today I worked on doing the engineering work with ramps and marbles. My group and I had to learn how to roll a marble down a ramp to land it in a certain area. We recorded data and were able to make an equation to model this. After lunch Ernie worked with us on how to connect a database to php. This will be very helpful to us in our database project.

  • Today we worked on more engineering things but today we did electrical engineering. We worked with circuits doing many different examples online as well as in real life using real components which was very cool. After lunch we got the terms for our database projet and began to work on it. We were able to make a lot of progress although the entire project will take a long time.

    Today was the first day of the new block and I began by finishing up on my mysql project. I was mostly complete with it but I had a few more requirements to finish but I was able to finally complete it.

    Today I found that I was yet to complete the mysql project so began working on it again. It took me a while to figure out what exactly to do at first but after working with it I was able to complete it with ease.

    Today I began to work on the google project. I had to first find a interactivate project for me to work on. I chose to do the coin toss flip. After using it quite a bit I was able to mostly get the hang of it.

    Today I began doing my own programing explorations as well as implenting this into my website. I decided to work with css and after looking through a few libraries online I began to develop a much larger understanding of this. It was very cool being able to look through the different code and how to make things look better.

    Today I worked on the new hld project given to me. I began with deciding which project to do vensim or agent cubes and i decided to do an agent cubes model.

    I continued to work on my agent model getting through most of it by lunchtime. However Ernie then looked at some of my previous projects and told me I had to fix quite a few things in my dice php project and mysql database project. I worked on fixing my dice project for the remainder of the day.

    I began to work on fixing my mysql database project. I basically realized there was soem things which I had to completely re do. So I began trying to fix these things by asking for help from my peers as well as looking a few things up. This took me the entire day but I was able to completely fix my project..

    Today I continued to work on my fashionista phil agent model. I had a good part of it already completed but I was having trouble with it not working correctly as it would just stop when the agents came in contact with one another. Afte getting help from my peers and from staff I was able to figure out the problem and fix that problem allowing me to completely finish the project.

    Today it looked like my website needed some work so I looked up a few css and html libraries and implemented them into my website. Thru this I was able to learn a lot more about html and css.
