The signs SHOT, INITIAL, VELOCITY, SECOND (this looks like the sign for minute, the sign for second should have more facial expression and quickness), ITS (there is not indication of possessiveness with this sign. Also using this sign for "it" doesn't show a relationship between the object and its reference.), SQUARED, and GIVEN are conceptually incorrect.  

**English word order does not help the students to visualize the setting and can cause confusion in their minds. If students can understand English print, they don't need the ASL. But, if they don't understand English print, using signed English will not help them understand the text any better.
