Candid Student Reports

The following reports were written by members of Math Explorations, Session D during the first day of the program. Some elements may have been removed/edited for various reasons, but the text that remains is in the student's own words.

Today was fun we did things with Euler's Path and Patterns.


Jeremy

I thought that today was challenging but, I* was able to solve the sequences with help
from Julie and my partner Roshen.


Alyce

Today I had fun I had no problems with anyone.


Karyee

I had fun today at Shodor, and we did fun things with patterns.  Our teacher Jon's
jokes were almost funny.  I thought that learning about spreadsheets was fun to do. 
  


Kevin

Monday's class was very hands on and I liked working in groups. We solved patterns and
used the spreadsheet on the computer to help us.

Today I had fun in this camp.  Everyone is nice.  They will help you with anything.

I LIKED EVERYTHING. I THINK THAT IT IS GOOD FOR CHILDREN.THE  TEACHERS AND HELPERS ARE
VERY FRIENDLY.  I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR.

I a very good time at the math program. It was a interesting class. I would recommmend
this to every to be here. I learned so much.I learned that some number have odd
vertices and some have even.

As told by the instructer we can say,"Jon's jokes are lame".  Today was fun ! We did
an interesting math name game. the class is off to a good start and the next week
looks enjoyable.

Today in Math Explorations we talked about "what is math?" "What are numbers?" and
"Why should we use computers to do math?"  It was fun.

I had fun in the math program at first I didn't want to talk but it is a fun creative
program and I opened up.  We learned about databasing and otherthings.

I LIKED EVERYTHING I DID TODAY I HAD LOT'S OF FUN I LIKED THE FRIENDLY TEACHER'S AND
THE FUN WORK I LIKED THE COMPUTER'S AND I WANT TO COME BACK AS MUCH AS I CAN.
