Today, after inroducing ourselves, we looked at a sheet of mathematical patterns. The students were to figure out the next number in a sequence of numbers, that best fit the pattern of the numbers beofre it. We then look at spread sheets and the ability to draw letters without lifting up our pencils. We also tied this is to the philosiphies of what exactly math is, and when it is good to use a computer to do mathematical problems, or when it is better for a person to do it by hand.
