Run the Model!

In order to understand why this model is important and interesting, please look at the Overview / Purpose and Objectives of the model before you run it.

There are two different ways that you can run this model. The first way involves inputting education level and income information below. The second way involves entering various monthly expenses into the fields at the bottom of the page. Once you have entered these needed bits of information, you can run the model.

1) We will begin by inputting education level and income information:

Education, Career, and Income

Our first step in running the model will be to input your choice regarding years of education. First, look at the selection of occupations, along with the average starting salary for each occupation. The number of years of education which are chosen will determine whether you are eligible for a Type 1, Type 2, or Type 3 career. Select a career from the list or from your own research and record it below.

After you have done the steps above, run the model by clicking on the submit button at the bottom of the page.

2) Next we will run the model after inputting monthly expenses and observe the results:

Monthly Expenses

This step involves entering the amount that we would like to be able to spend on various things each month. Once you have entered this information click on the submit button at the bottom of the page.
