What I Learned the First Day of Class 10/27/07

Today was pretty much the orientation of Shodor: Their purpose, their mission statement, their rules, and the importance of communicating with my teachers and the other students. Mr. Bob Panoff also explained the importance of having expectations, observng how to do something, and then reflecting on what you learned in a jounal . Mr. Ernie went over the apprentice handbook with us too. We were learning the concepts of web design. I began creating my own webpage.

Summary...

The Three Most Important Rules of Shodor: Very Important!!!

1. Those who work, get to kepp their job. (might including other duties)

2. Raises become affective when you do

3. It's always better for you to tell them (teachers), then for them to find out. (communication is the key!)

Working Method:

Expectation, Observation, Reflection=Preview, View, Review

Reality over Expectation equals Satisfaction (fraction version)
