MY FUTURE
After high school I plan to go to Duke University and become a doctor. I think that Shodor will defiantly help me to accomplish such a big dream because I will learn many things. Shodor will also make my résumé look extremely good because it will show that I took the time to learn things on the weekends and during the summer.
In my future I plan to accomplish many things. For starters I plan to make the varsity basketball team for Green Hope high school next year. Since it is not common for freshmen to become starters on a varsity team, I am really determined to work on my skills by playing AAU basketball over the summer and also just working by myself. Basketball is a great passion of mine but I understand that I will not go all the way with this, which is why I also have to keep up academically.
In high school I would really like to stand out academically from all the other kids. In order to do this, I will have to have the best grades and be ahead than the average high scholar. In ninth grade I will double up on math course’s which will hopefully throw me more up there.
I have really enjoyed Shodor so far, because I have learned many things dealing with computers. My favorite part of this whole time I have been here was when we got to make a personal web page. I really liked this because I got to add personal taste to what it looked like and how it worked. In Shodor we have also learned about how to program diagrams for viruses. This is one of the things that I believe will defiantly help me in the future because doctors work with things like this. This lesson helped me understand how fast and how badly something could spread. It let us see for our selves how much of a problem something could cause.
I think that the more goals that someone has in their life that the more they will get done. My biggest goal in life is to enjoy and live every part of my life whether it is good or bad. But I also really want to have a PhD and graduate from Duke University. If I accomplish these two goals before I am 35 than I am positive that the rest of my life will be already set for me to walk into.
