What did you do that you are most proud of?

I put away the laptops, projectors and other expensive equipment so while over the holidays they are safe and turned off all the workstations for the holidays. Did a Apple software update before storing the Macbooks.

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?

While updating and storing the Macbooks "Buster" had a issue where it would not power on the battery was fully charged, green lights and took it to Joel. I poped the battery pack out and did the self test button on the back, full five green bars. Place it back in tried to power once more it turned on fine then. Joel sent me a ioreg command to run display battery infomation I ran it took a screenshot of the output and scp'ed from the local admin account to my desktop just in case we might need it later. My guess is loose battery connection or the battery it self.

Who (among Shodor staff and your peers) helped you the most? How did they help you?

Luke told me about the hpcu site that needed it's links to be tested as many of the external links are broken.

Who did you help? How did you help them?

Helped out Phillip with installing a app on the iPad had to enter the purchasingpassword before downloading we had to setup some security questions and a recover email. Helped one of the interns test his flash drive he was having problems with we couldn't get it to mount on the Mac he said that the drive could mount on his Windows computer at home checked the format of the drive it was fat so it should be been seen, might be other factors.
