What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?

While testing xCode compatibility users could not open it on ldap accounts. For example nealr had issues opening xCode while johnr and I did not. Used the groups command to view groups for users johnr compared to nealr and mikev was the same other than one group which was _developer. Leads me to believe that something else is causing this. Talked with Neal about the issue and showed him how my xCode was working checked the version it was 4.1 Neal found that the issue was with 4.3 the newest release of xCode. So we can roll back to 4.1 which works for everyone or find a fix if possible for 4.3.

Who did you help? How did you help them?

Helped Tyler in setting up the linux boxes we had networked users working on the i386 box we followed the guide online and compared the configs to the working box loewi. We had to restart though due to the fstab having a extra character at the end of file and no means of editing it. The 64 bit install has been having issues with lightdm the login screen. It sees ldap and makes a connection but does not load the desktop environment.
