What did you do that you are most proud of?

Ironing out the finshing touches on the images. I inventoried the printer supplies such as the ink and toners we needed since Joel was going to buy some more here soon. For the printer supplies I added a wiki page and linked to to the printers wiki page to edit when someone uses or buys more ink/toner to act as a living inventory. I found a missing Logitech wireless mouse in one of the printer toner boxes which might have been from the move. I Added the new Dell W5300 in the Intern/iMac lab to the printer list as well as made it the default printer so when the timesheets are due on 23rd Jeffs/Jennys printer won't be flooded with print jobs. Wrote two bash scripts to help resolve the issue with Firefox and iCal issues. The issues with Firefox was dealing with profiles. iCal problem was cache.-conch.lock prevented calendars from loading on launch and causes the program to be unresponsive. Removing this file would fix the issue though it would be replace on next change in iCal. We looked at other options for calendars and decided on Sunbird to replace iCal as a calendar on the image. Checked the laptops in the classroom to see if they are ready for apprentices.

Who (among Shodor staff and your peers) helped you the most? How did they help you?

Kyle and Izzie helped update all the classroom laptops with the latest updates. Joel, Jenny, and Jennifer have been posting any issues with the Alpha lion image or applications which have been helpful in getting the image ready. Rob showed me a diagram of the stack and Polycom that needed a audio cable. Izzie helped me in setup of the setup of the Polycom in Dr Panoffs office.
