What did you learn today or this week that you're most excited about?

When configuring drbd with everyone I learned some neat shortcuts. I was going though the list for Mac Imaging the gnuplot which is a command line graphing tool has been under development since 1988. Ernie was talking about this scientist who took colour protein genes from jellyfish to use in biology and Jeff explained that it was now widely used and that since it is a single gene that you could put it in front of others to make it blink when it gets a response thought that was cool.

What did you do that you are most proud of?

Working on the Mac imaging got pretty much everything done minus a few things like ilife. Did Update for Microsoft office 04 by updater I also did a update for Open XML filer for Mac and I did a update for Office 2008. Downloaded the new release of Centos to disk was going to use the test machine in the lab to compare the differences or any problems.

Comments: You've been doing a great job with the imaging, thanks! -James Williams Zavada

What have you heard about that you are hoping to learn more of?

I was hoping to learn a bit more about the new Centos release to see how much changes. Read more of the drbd stuff so we can get it working.

Who (among Shodor staff and your peers) helped you the most? How did they help you?

While installing Fink by bootstrap I wondering where it installed to Trey showed me that I fat fingered the directory path. Jym showed me a neat trick for "saving" a command you don't want to run yet but later place a # in front then arrow up to it later.

Trey and I sat down and compared Fink and Macports since they have a similar purpose and found that Macports would be better over the two.
