A lot of people have asked me how I made the banners that you see at the top of each page. I use a graphics program called Inkscape (Wikipedia link Here) to make many things. The links that are right above here I also made. Anything that I make and think is interesting I will be putting here.
With my "Shatter effect" banners, I started out with some text that i drew up.
After I had my image, i put triangles all around the letters to specify the spaces that I was going to cut out.
After drawing the triangles I cut it out of the letter if the two were touching.
Then I moved the cutouts slightly and colored everything one color and.. VIOLA! After about an hour's worth of work, I have shattered text for a banner.
