my experiences with math and sience
my experiences in math and science was in all grades from k-10 but it was more fun when i stareted a program called WAM (women and math). It was a program that involved mostly math but science too. We got together with mentors and went to basketball games and calculated scores in different ways. my science experience was in the sixth grade science fair. I did a project on the fat in fastfood food. it was an exciting part of science. I got to do reserch on how many fats were in the food.
What I learned in classI learned so much in class today. We had an introduction by the president bob. He went over the things that will be discuse in the course of the time that we are here. He basicly told us the rules and regulations of the program. The rules are people who don't work don't get paid. the second rule was raises are avaliable when you are. The last rle was it's better to tell us instead of us finding out.
What I Learned 11/03/07
we learned how to make outlines for our webpages. We learned how to group and make different shapes and different logos. We also learned how to use the inkscape tools to make and draw different things with the bezier tool. I also did verious logos for my website and other things.
What I Learned 11/10/07
well we learned the graphics part of the class today. He taught us about GimpShop and how to redo a photo. he also showed us how to make the picture more green or red or blue. Over all w just played around with GimpShop so we can get the feel of how it works.
What I Learned 12/08/07
We learned about html and css. I loved this calss because i helped me with my website and showed me how to do differnt things with my website. We were also introduced to the website W3 schools and ernest told us that the website would help us a lot in the long run with our projects. The advance class came in and helped us on what ever we needed help on.
What I Learned 12/22/07
we learned a little bit more about html and web design but we got introduced to the javascript part of the class it was a lot of fun. I thought that javascript was going to be hard but, as soon as he started to explain it became more "like ok i get it now" we did try to add javascript to our websites but it didn't work out for me i really like javascript.
We learned about agentsheets in the class today wtih matthew and alex. He made it seemed so easy we he was explaining it. To me i really didn't like the agentsheets that much but the project that we had was so easy. the prject to me was very risky to me i had complications but i got it done.
All we did today was finish the things that when need to finish before the dead line. I'm almost finished my amc 1&2 and my personal webpage part one. I am hoping to get all my stuff done plus my group project. We also learned how to get the grass to grow and the rabbit and wofls into the prodject. She gave us a group project and i got time to meet my new group mates it was time for us to get invloved and experince what we can do with out help.
We learned about netlogo with valerie today. We had a good time with netlogo.She showed us the example model and let us fill in where it needed we got it so well it just went by so fast that when she gave us the project everyone got started on it real fast. Netlogo is the best program i think.
We learned more about netlogo today it helped us learn more about or group projects
more. It helped us a lot. the project was progressing very well and we were hoping to
get it done before the deadlines.
We leaned About the Excel part ofth program today. Bethaney Taught us how excel.
