I finished Ulquiorra's page!!! lol, check it out. It has great makeup tips, dating advice, and pickup lines. I dunno about you, but I would totally trust Ulquiorra for all my needed ..uh.. advice. He also has a srsly hot shuvel. and its pink.

Mood:

I learned a little more about html. Specifically, I learned more about how to make the codes organized.One of the main reasons I wanted to take this class was because of computer programming. I also hope I learn more so that I can fix my webpage. Actually, I can't wait to try out the html helper website.

Mood: Happy

I learned about inkscape and gimpshop. I love drawing and all things related, so I was happy to learn more about how to use the programs. At home I use photoshop so it was a new way to draw that set me off balance. (a little) I hope we'll be learning and using them more often because I really enjoy it. I think that html and inkscape combined would make for an awesome class.

Mood: Bumpish

I learned about the quizzes we'll be doing for our project. They helped me sharpen my math skills. Since I skipped basic middle school math, I'm not that great at things like dividing or multiplying large numbers without a calculator. I also learned a little bit about css, but most of what I learned I knew. It helped me refreshen my memory.

Mood: Sleepy

In this class, I learned more about CSS. I'm not too good at it, so I was happy when I was able to finish the CSS challenge. I learned how to do columns and content on a webpage. Learning that helped me build my site. We basically spent the entire class on learning CSS.

I learned a little bit about agent sheets. Agent sheets confused me a bit, so I don't know how hard it'll be for me to do the homework. Agent sheets was also buggy. It kept quitting on me. I also learned about the new modules, and I'm excited because module one is over after my birthday. I'm turning 15 :D

Mood: like buying a kitten

I learned about agent sheets and how to make them. I also learned more about html and css, since I've been working on my page. :D I learned how to use java to make mouseover link images for my link bar. I'm not that handy with java though. If you ask me, they look pretty cool. :D

Mood: uhh..

I learned about Net Logo, which is almost the same as Agent sheets. I like Net Logo way better, considering it's much easier to use. Agent sheets wouldn't work to well with me, as it kept saying that my project files didn't exist. It would also quit on me a lot, and it would just stop working. I'd like to start and finish the rest of my Net Logo assignment before I forget what I learned.

I learned about our group project for Netlogo. I'm not good at Netlogo. I also don't know how exactly to go around starting the project. I'm not really excited about it. I'd say I was more sad because I still have my webpage part two, the AMC, and the Netlogo assignment, all due in two weeks. D:

Mood: Random

Since we didn't really have class, instead I worked on my website. I added the portfolio and a link page. As soon as I make my icons and write some paragraphs, It'll be done. :D I'm really happy about that. Hopefully that's all the editing I'll do.

MODULE THREE

Mood:

I learned about Excel, so that I was able to complete the assignment. All we needed to do was create a word document explaining our own SIR problem. I chose to compare the SIR model to that of a rumor spreading in a school. The susceptible people were the ones prone to the rumor, the infected were the ones spreading the rumor, and the recovered were the ones who no longer believed the rumor. All in all it was a fun activity to write, and I learned how to use Excel better. (at least in the in class activity)

Mood:

I learned about Vensim, but I still don't really know what it is, so I'm not terribly excited to learn more about it. According to Krista, it's a system you use to model things, where you can make groups of people to run a model. It's different from Agent Sheets or Netlogo where you use agent modeling to show what each individual is doing. With Vensim we were able to model how people as a whole would become infected and then healthy again. This was based off of certain numbers we inputed into the variable names.
