Experience

I have had a lot of experiences in science and math, the experience that I had in science is the different project that we had to complete. The first project that I received was about "why Earth's science should be taught in High School". For that project I had to look up the problem in Durham area, and how Earth Sciences can stop some of those problems. For the experience in math I had to create space goggles for NASA. To complete that project it takes a lot of math and understanding sciences terms. I just completed that project with my group on Tuesday October 23 2007.

What I learned??

In class on Saturday I learned the do's and don'ts on the computer (even though I don't know how to work an apple computer). As the day went on I learned the different items that were in the handbook. The most exciting thing that I learned on Saturday was how to add links onto a webpage. I thought that it was going to be hard, but it is really easy to do. That was what I learned on Saturday at Shodor.

Module 1

October 20

October 20 was the first day of being an appremtice. I learned the different project that we will get pais for. I also learned how to create my own web page. Another thing that i learned was that we can go off camps to eat lunch. The bes thing that I liked that I learned todat was that we have to clock in and out , and that makes me fell like a real worker.

November 1

I learned how to add graphics to my web page. I am most excited becasue now my web page will a whole lot bette then what it looks like before. Also I learned the ethic or working in a ofice an the rules of what to do am wat not to do.

December 1

I learned something new today, I lerned how to add color and how to make text bigger and smaller. One thing that was exciting today was when we got to finally use the computer. That is how I am doing my refection now.

January 12

Today in class we learned how to agents sheets, and how to make them sick. We also learned how to add a role call. We had to add direction to the different people on the worksheet. The hardest thing I had trouble with was trying to get my background to work.

January 26

I learned aout how to do presentation. I learned how to speak in front of a group people, and how to prepare myself to present. The thing that I liked the most was that doing a presentation is like a story. I learned tricks to use to look art the audience with out really looking at them. Learned how to make mew aents todat in class. It was kind of hard, but I understood most f it.

February 9

In class today I learned how to do NetLogo. Which is really fun. NetLogo is like programmng. ou have to give commandments to the different pieces that you have. I am glad that we finished presentation today.
