Hey, welcome to my website! My name is Brittany and I am in the 11th grade at Josephine Dobbs Clement Early College High School located on the campus of North Carolina Central University. This is a program where students take almost all of their high school courses in the first two years of school and then for their junior year they have two high school classes along with some college classes on campus. During a student's senior year, they would take only college courses on campus. By the time the student graduates, they will already have two years of college in their back pocket. My favorite subject in school is math. It is one of the courses that I feel is able to have the most definite answers. I also enjoy Spanish but there are too many grammar rules that differ between English and Spanish. My goal is to be able to speak Spanish fluently. I want to be able to know enough so that by the time I get into college and study abroad I will be able to handle my own in the country.

I used to do school sports in middle school but now I only do dance. I take jazz, tap, and hip hop classes. I have been dancing for a majority of my life. I started in the 1st grade but then stopped until 6th grade. I currently dance at Dance Theatre South. When I am not dancing, my other hobbies include reading, writing poetry, and surfing the web. My favorite thing to do when I am trying to relax is to listen to music and just block out the world. My favorite artist is Ne-Yo. I have all of his CDs so far and am ready for his next one to come out soon. Even though Ne-Yo is an R & B artist, I still enjoy listening to other genres like rock, classical, and rap/hip hop. Country music is okay but I enjoy listening to other genres of music much more.

Thanks for stopping by!
